Day 4 (Dinsdag - May 4th 2004)
We travelled north to the area known as Abersoch, a dismal, wet, ill tempered
place, home to Jabba the Tenement block, who ran a coaching rest area, unable
to find a “Prince Of Wales” Fineogs became nostalgic for a chapter
of his youth involving a balcony , a lady & Olgra, we rested in a tavern
- again twas not “The Prince Of Wales” before splitting the group
into Knaves & Consumers. The knaves left for the mythical location of
the Birdmen, which they found and it was good. But never ever soar in a vampyre
unless you have the required boots or thongs.
The consumers left to find unwary traders, for they meant to trade to their
best advantage but they fell into the Labyrinth and their journey was fraught
with many disappointments as they were lost in the Lanes of Dead Ends, weary
after their epic travels down enchanted lanes they stopped at a Tavern for
food. The knaves had retired to a brown & pleasant land known as “The
Sportsmans Arms”; keen to do battle with the witches brews within &
with local features upon our faces whilst waiting for reinforcements in the
shape of Lady Laura T'Model, a text pigeon announced the arrival of Lady Laura
and her mother Jane de Vin left to escort her to safe passage.
Evening arrived and a ball was held (not by Lady Linda this time), by prior
arrangement it was to be an evening of disguise, to try and find out a murder
mystery along with a meal of fine French Onion Soup, a mischievous sprite
did take upon itself to lock Lady Linda out of her chamber, we contacted the
Keyholder champion who is familiar in the ways of the lock, he gained access
and returned to darkest Wales, leaving us in our finery & pretty costumes.
The feast and revelry continued until we could contain Jane de Vin & Macca
the Knave no more & the Karaoke was set free, wither it was this abomination
which brought back the sprite we will never know but Lady Linda was again
locked out of her chamber & sought shelter with Macca the knave.
