Day 5 (Woensdag - May 5th 2004)
Jane de Vin arose late from her slumbers having suffered in the
night; she missed the Keyholder (again) opening the chamber of Lady Linda
(oh err missus). Upon taking a southeast trail we came upon an Italian village
- the villagers call Portmerion, which housed a cornucopia of exotic treats
& trinkets & tat. This caused Jane de Vin to exclaim that the cake
was nice; Joanne de Barnes-Wallace sought sanctuary & retreat from the
troop. She was found by following the flip-flop noise she has made her own,
rested and cajoled she joined us on our travels to Portmadoc, where Alan de
Gutt did battle with the Parking Ticket Machine of Stress. To hide their goods
& finery the villagers summoned up a rain cloud that did descend upon
the group - it was a fine rain of the type that really gets you wet. Alan
de Gutt made himself available of some hand arrows for later entertainment
not realising his group were not the tossers he thought they were, the cry
went up to return to our fortress & indulge in the pleasures of The Communal
Stew, we did and it was good, it was better than that made by Ainsley of Harriott.
The rest of the evening was consumed in alcoholic oblivion. And the sprite
did reappear and locked the Lady Linda from her bath chamber.
